Scientific Trip to Bio Laboratory
On Thursday, October 19th, our fourth-grade students of Biology Education department, Tishk International University under the supervision of Mrs.Zhikal Omer and Mrs.Gasheen Bakhtiyar visit the Bio lab as part of their Human Physiology Course, and it was an adventure filled with learning and discovery.
Our fourth-grade students were excited to see the lab and discover the fascinating equipment’s used by scientists. The lab workers made excellent tour guides. They demonstrated all of the equipment in the laboratory for us and described their functions. It resembled a science playground.
The laboratory technicians shared lots of interesting information with our students. They talked about how scientists study the human body and why it’s so important. Our students were listening and taking note for the information explained by the technicians. Students asked lots of questions, and the technicians answered every one of them. It was great to see our students so curious and excited about science. They learned that asking questions is how we learn more about the world around us.
As the day came to an end, our fourth graders left the lab with lots of information about the different laboratory equipment’s. They had learned so much and had a fantastic time doing it. Then the students were kindly asked to prepare a report about the things they learned during their trip and submit it to their supervisors.
