Medicinal plants, parasitic plants and casual herbs are the plants stored in the herbarium. The seminar was presented by Mr. Harmand Ali , Head of Biology Education Department. He explained the p53 gene, its role, and its expression on colorectal cancer patients. Mr. Harmand Ali also mentioned how the procedure has been applied on many patients in several hospitals in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah. The seminar was beneficial and students were introduced to new medical knowledge.
