Hydroponic Gardening The Department of Biology, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, organised a seminar titled:  Hydroponic Gardening, held on June 16th, 2022. The seminar was presented by Dr Sabir Wasman, lecturer in Biology Education Department. He started with the history of this technique and gave a summary of the hydroponic benefits. Dr Sabir Wasman also mentioned the advantages and disadvantages of this technique. The seminar also covered different hydroponic methods that are famous worldwide and have been used in developing countries.

Supercritical Extraction The Department of Biology, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, organised a seminar titled:  supercritical extraction, held on June 16th, 2022. The seminar was presented by Ms Sawsan Hamed, Lecturer at the Biology Education Department. She explained different aspects of supercritical extraction and discussed the advantages and disadvantages of these methods with their other applications. Ms Sawsan focused on Nutmeg Myristica fragrance and its benefits as she has conducted during her research.

Evaluation of P53 Expression Among Colorectal Cancer Patients The Department of Biology, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University organized a seminar titled:  Evaluation of p53 expression among Colorectal Cancer Patient, held on April 14th, 2021. The seminar was presented by Mr. Harmand Ali , Head of Biology Education Department. He explained the p53 gene, its role, and its expression on colorectal cancer patients. Mr. Harmand Ali also mentioned how the procedure has been applied on many patients in several hospitals in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah. The seminar was beneficial and students were introduced to new medical knowledge.
