1st National Symposium on the Foundations of Quantum Mechanics: From Beginning to Cryptography

The 1st National Symposium on the Foundations of Quantum Mechanics has been held by the Physics Education Department, Faculty of Education, Tishk International University Erbil-Iraq on 18th May 2023. The symposium, titled “Foundations of Quantum Mechanics from Beginning to Cryptography” introduces a platform in the foundations of quantum mechanics for bachelor’s degree. Quantum mechanics is the study of things that are very, very small. This branch of science investigates the behaviour of matter and the activities happening inside of atoms in order to make sense of the smallest things in nature. Essentially, quantum mechanics is the study of how atomic particles exist and interact with each other. The symposium took place at Hall #302, Faculty of Education, Tishk International University, Erbil-Iraq.

About 65 persons participated in the symposium in person. Distinguished speakers and academicians attended the event, and important points and conclusions was discussed during the sessions conducted. Speakers from different affiliations participated in this symposium as their names are listed below:
