Reading Performance with Mathematics Students The Department of English Language Teaching (ELT) at the Faculty of Education, Tishk International University (TIU) organized an open reading/writing workshop, held on February 23rd of 2022. The workshop was aimed at improving students’ reading and writing performance. RISE School Students Visit TIU Book Fair On February 8th, 2022, a group of students from RISE School visited the book fair held at Tishk International University. Under the supervision of Ms. Dilan Ismail, teacher at RISE and one of TIU graduates 2018-2019, the students also had an opportunity to tour the campus and explore the books they were interested in. A total of 20 students and 2 teachers visited TIU Book Fair from Ronaki International School in Erbil. [wds id="51"]

Mathematics Department on a snowy day On the 21st of January 2022, staff members of the Mathematics Department at Tishk International University went out to the snow to enjoy and play with each other. Of course, even on such day our staff did not forget their beloved faculty members and students. They wrote the initials of our department on the snow, and sent the pictures to our lovely students and other staff members too!

On 29-January-2022 to 3-Febraury-2022 Mathematics Education along with Computer Education Department first graders had their Midterm Examination week and it went great! Due to the ministry’s health decision, and with the help of the chief invigilators and invigilators, all the students and invigilators wore their face masks and no students were allowed to join the exam without it. Generally, the exams started at 10am and ended within the next hour. Any late students were not allowed into the hall. [wds id="50"]
