Mathematic Education Department arranged a lunch for freshman . It was great to eat Kurdish dolma while introducing students to staff of Mathematics Education Department . During the lunch, students also informed about the advisors who will guide them throughout the year.

Mathematics Education Department of Tishk International University organized a great competition on how to write, how to spell and how to define a mathematical vocabularies which are mostly used in math courses. In the competition was included 5 groups, and each group consisted of three students from second, third and fourth year of Mathematics Education Department. There were 5 jury members. Two of them were guest jury members who are Cuneyt KILIÇ Mathematics Teacher from Ronaki Hawler Educational Institutions and Ibrahim Nişancı Assistant Lecturer from ELT Department of Tishk International University.
