The Mathematics  Department organized a seminar regarding general examination guidelines on 4th February 2021. The seminar aimed to guide the students and familiarize them with examination regulations. Almost 30 students, alongside staff members of the Mathematics Department, attended the presentation, which was led and conducted by Ms. Maria Kawa. The presenter mainly focused on the current situation, and how to maintain the health instructions in response to Covid-19; to protect the health and safety of yourself and others.

The Alumni Office, with the cooperation of the Education Faculty, organized a reunion for the Biology, Mathematics, and Physics Education Departments on January 13, 2021. The event, which was held in the Education building, started with the speech of Dr. Suleyman Celik, Dean of Education Faculty, in which he warmly welcomed all, and was delighted to see the alumni serving society in different parts of the world. Dear students, Please be informed that December 17th of each year is the Kurdistan Flag Day, designated by the Kurdistan Region Parliament in 2009. In this context, the Dean of Students of Tishk International University has organized a ceremony for commemorating this day. The ceremony will commence with the Kurdish national anthem “Ay Raqib”. Then, Dr. Abdul Samad, President of the TIU, will present a speech to the students and staff. "Bouncing Sums Game" Playing mathematics games encourages strategic thinking, problem solving and develops fluency. "Mathematics Department organized a lunch for his seniors students"   On 6 December 2020, Mathematics Department at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a Lunch for his 4th grade students they were about 17 students and his staff they were 9 staff as an activity and we invite Dean of Faculty of Education Dr. Suleyman Celik as well.
