Introduction to Education Exhibition On December 15th, 2021, students of the Mathematics Education Department organized a poster presentation under the title of 'Introduction to Education', corresponding to the Introduction to Education Lecture delivered by Dr. Aziza Kavlu. Second-grade students organized this exhibition to explain methods of teaching and to present their own teaching skills. Nine students delivered presentations covering different topics. The event was attended by staff and students from other grades to gain more knowledge on the topic. [wds id="39"]

Mercy Corner 2022 Project On December 14th, the Dean of Students at Tishk International University arranged a food fundraising event in which all faculty staff members and students participated. The purpose of the event was to support and promote the #Mercy Corner 2022 Project. The Dean of Students organizes food fundraising projects each year, in which both students and staff prepare and sell all types of food, desserts, drinks, and more. Mathematics Department and Salahaddin University Collaboration The Faculty of Education received a delegation from the Faculty of Science at the University of Salahaddin on November 30th, 2021. Teaching Technology and Material Design Poster Exhibition for the Academic year 2021-2022 On November 23, 2021, the Mathematics Education Department staff, including the Head of Department and third-grade students organized an exhibition on how to teach and use technology using their own teaching skills. Eleven students delivered a presentation about using and style of teaching the technology in classrooms in the future. Students from other grades also attended the exhibition to gain more knowledge on how to use technology. Further to this, the exhibition was used as an examination mechanism by fourth-stage students to evaluate third-stage students based on their presentations. [...]

Trip to Salahaddin University-Erbil Academic year 2021-2022. Apart from traditional lectures, scientific and educational visits are part of community-oriented education. In this context, the Department of Mathematics at Tishk International University paid a visit to the Mathematics Department at Salahuddin University on November 29th, 2021. This was an educational trip as well as an excursion; an opportunity for our students to attain good knowledge and obtain real-time exposure. This was also helpful in refreshing the student’s minds.
