Tishk International University (TIU) and Salahaddin University are pleased to announce “Voices in Bloom: A Journey Through Poetry and Prose,” a collaborative literary event celebrating student creativity.
Organized by Kurdistan Students Talks (KST), a student-led initiative from the English Language Teaching Department at TIU, in partnership with the English Department at the College of Education, Salahaddin University, this event aims to provide a powerful platform for young voices to share their stories and artistic expression.
Event Highlights
The gathering will feature two distinct segments:
- Book Presentation: The event will begin with a heartfelt book presentation by Ms. Mardin Raad, a third-year ELT student at Tishk International University. Her work will be accompanied by insightful commentary from Dr. Soran Mustafa and Mr. Xamgin Bolly, a respected poet and the owner of Kultur Publishing House.
- Poetry Showcase: Highlighting the second half of the program, a group of senior students from the English Language Department at Salahaddin University, mentored by Dr. Bandar Abdul-Qahhar, will present their original poetry.
