Voices of Debate

On Thursday, 14 May at 3:00 PM, in the Education Building – Hall 302, a formal academic debate was conducted, bringing together students from multiple disciplines in a structured intellectual exchange of ideas and reasoning.
The motion under discussion was:
“Should hard skills be prioritized, or should soft skills and hard skills be considered equally important?”
The debate featured two well-prepared teams:

Throughout the session, both teams demonstrated strong analytical thinking, structured argumentation, and academic confidence. The discussion reflected a high level of engagement, critical reflection, and respectful intellectual dialogue.
After careful evaluation by the distinguished jury members: Mrs. Mardin, Mr. Soran, and Mr. Reman, the results were announced.
The Education Team was declared the WINNER of the debate competition, in recognition of their clarity of arguments, coherence of structure, and effective critical engagement with the topic.
The event concluded as a meaningful academic experience that emphasized the value of dialogue, reasoning, and collaborative learning within higher education.
