Welcoming Ceremony for New Academic Year 2023-2024
A welcome ceremony was recently held by the Biology Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, on October 5th, 2023, setting up the environment for students and staff members for an exciting new academic year.
The Head of Biology Department, Mr. Harmand Ali, gave a motivational speech to start off the event, in which he delivered inspiring advice, and provided a glimpse into the department’s journey and its vision for the future. One of the highlights of the ceremony was the recognition of academic excellence, where the top-performing students from each grade were awarded certificates for their exceptional dedication and hard work during the last academic year. Their achievements not only celebrated their individual success but also served as a source of inspiration for their peers.
Following the awards ceremony, Miss. Heshu Jalal, Assistant Lecturer in the Biology Education Department, took the stage. Her presentation highlighted the department’s achievements, research endeavours, and academic milestones. It was a proud moment for the department as Ms. Jalal showcased the collective efforts that have propelled it to new heights.
On this day, which also marked World Teachers’ Day, our students had a touching surprise in mind for the hardworking members of the Biology Education Department. They shared flowers with staff members and a message from the heart expressing their gratitude and admiration. The gift was received with smiles and sincere gratitude, which made it a suitable memorial to our dedicated teachers.
