On April 03, 2018 a seminar about electricity production in hydroelectric power plants was presented to 2nd grade students by Dr. Semih Aydin who is head of Physics Education Departmnent. The title of the seminar was “HYDROELECTRICITY: From water droplets to electricity”. The purpose was to inform the students about dam structure, water collection, and energy changes in a hydroelectric power plant, turbine, electricity generators, transformers and electricity delivery system. This presentation was the second seminar before the dam visit. By this series of seminars it was aimed for students to get much benefit from the dam visit.
