Visit to Raparin University
On October 26th, 2023, the Physics Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a visit to Raparin University, Rania, Sulaimani. The trip aimed to establish effective academic collaboration between the Physics Education Department at TIU and the Physics Department, Faculty of Science at Raparin University. The Physics Education Department prepared a plan to visit laboratories in different fields of physics, such as nanotechnology, mechanics, electricity and magnetism, optics, modern physics, solid-state physics, and thermodynamics. During the visit, the academic staff highlighted and discussed important points that may improve some experiments and to be applied in different academic events and research. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two institutions, and both parties agreed to hold a joint workshop.
