Memorable Farewell Dinner for Fourth-Year Students
The Physics Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a farewell dinner to honour their fourth-year physics students on May 30th, 2023. The event was joined by guests and faculty members, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Vice President for Academic Affairs, who participated to celebrate the achievements and bid a fond farewell to the graduating students. The gathering was an embodiment of unity, as not only the physics staff and their families but also faculty council members, including the Heads of both the ELT and Mathematics Education Department, came together to make the evening even more vibrant and memorable.
The aim of the event was to create a space for the students to reflect on their academic journey while also benefiting from the wisdom and experiences shared by the faculty. At the culmination of the evening, each student had the opportunity to deliver an inspiring speech, and the teachers took the opportunity to provide invaluable advice and motivation for life beyond graduation. They encouraged the students to seek meaningful employment and make a positive impact on society.
