Physics Department Participated in Food Fund-raising in Spring Festival
The Dean of Students Office at Tishk International University (TIU) organized the 5th International Festival of Language, Culture and Science at the TIU campus under the theme of “Green Energy and Minimum Waste” with the participation of general consulates, politicians, parents, students, staff, and guests, held on Tuesday, May 17th, 2022. The festival aimed to raise support for renewable energy as a solution to the region’s crises of energy and environment and to increase the awareness of minimum waste. The festival also focused on promoting the message of peace and coexistence among countries and nations.
Physics Education Department students represented Jordan in the festival, and student volunteers dressed in traditional Jordanian clothing. The students also described the Jordanian history and culture to visitors and served Jordanian dessert and coffee during the event. The General Consulate of Jordan also participated in the event by providing brochures and gift packs for visitors.
Our students also participated in food fundraising activity, in which they prepared homemade food, dessert and drinks for the event participants.
