Community Social Project—First Day: Promoting Physics Education in Kindergartens and Schools
On February 27, 2023, the Physics Education Department of Ishik Secondary School, Erbil, organized an educational event aimed at motivating students to learn physics. Dr. Pshtewan Akrem, the Head of the Department, led the project with the assistance of Dr. Ismail Musa and Ms. Payam Najmadden as research assistants, along with the students of the Astronomy Club.
The primary objective of the event was to inspire students to learn about the solar system and observe celestial objects using a private telescope Muhammad Abdulaziz. The students were given an educational card containing various images and information on the solar system.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the staff and students involved in organizing this successful event in partnership with the schools. It is our hope that this project will continue to inspire and motivate students to explore the fascinating world of physics.
