Astronomy Poster Presentation The Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University (TIU), organized a poster exhibition on Astronomy  for third-stage students, held on December 12th, 2023. This activity was supervised by Dr. Esmail Musa. The exhibition aimed to broaden students’ knowledge on Astronomy and provide them with an opportunity to depict their understanding of this field. This activity was supervised by Ms. Silvar Abdulaziz and Dr. Esmail Musa Lecturers at the Department of Physics Education, who also participated as jury members to evaluate the posters. The exhibition aimed to broaden students’ knowledge on MATLAB and provide them with an opportunity to depict their understanding of the connection between MATLAB and the field of physics.

Social Community Project Motivation for Physics Learning in High Schools in Erbil Staff members at the Physics Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University (TIU) visited the BISK (British International School of Kurdistan) on December 7th, 2023. The purpose of the site visit was to inspect the physics laboratory, paving the way for the establishment of academic collaboration in specific courses. This collaboration includes labs and materials and is intended to uphold the academic integrity of both institutions.

Students had the opportunity to visit the university laboratory. Orientation Day for Freshmen 2023-2024 On the 13th of December, 2023, the Physics Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University organized an orientation day for freshmen students of the new academic year, 2023-2024. The program included two seminars regarding course registration, covering important guidelines and policies of the university. The second presentation explained the Dean of Student's Office activities. The newcomers were also toured around the campus and paid a visit to the labs and library.
