After completing the final exams, the Physics Department organized a closing ceremony for first-grade students, to encourage students to study and use the holiday wisely in preparation for the second grade. The event was held on June 27th, 2021, in which the Head of the Physics Department delivered a motivational speech to all students, and congratulated them all for their hard work and efforts. One of our graduated students was also invited to share his experience with everyone as a first-grader, and how he overcame his difficulties as a student. Fourth-grade students presented their graduation research projects for final evaluation to the defense committee and judges over the course of 3 days: June 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 2021. The projects discussed different fields such as Astronomy, Nanotechnology, and Educational. The jury members included Assist. Prof. Dr. Mudhafer Mustafa Ameen, Dr. Muhammad Hisham, Mr. Pshtewan Akram, and Mr. Sivar Aziz. As a form of devotion and appreciation, the Department of Physics organized a farewell lunch for all 4th graders and Departmental staff. The aim of the activity was to expand students' knowledge in the subject, and engage them in learning.
