10th NAYREC Event On May 25th, 2023, our 4th grade students participated in the 10th NAYREC Event (10th National Young Researchers Conference), organized by the Computer Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, and sponsored by Al Haydar Cars. 9th ICOWOBAS-2023 Event From May 8th to May 10th, 2023, Tishk International University had the privilege of hosting the prestigious 9th International Conference and Workshop on Basic and Applied Sciences (ICOWOBAS-2023). The conference brought together a diverse gathering of four hundred presenters and listeners from across the globe. ICOWOBAS was initially established in 2007 with the aim of fostering collaboration between universities in Indonesia and Malaysia. Mathematics Poster Exhibition The Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, organized a Poster Exhibition on Introduction to Mathematics for first-stage students, held on June 7th, 2023. This activity was supervised by Mr. Sivar Aziz. Dr. Pshteewan, Head of the Physics Department, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azeez Abdullah, Research Assistant Mr. Sebur Salih, participated as jury members to evaluate the posters. The exhibition aimed to broaden students’ knowledge on Mathematics used in Physics and provide them with an opportunity to depict their understanding of this field and explain it to others.
Lunch With 1st Grade Students The Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, organized a lunch in Kabab House for first-stage students on June 7th, 2023. The social activity event aimed to help students relax before the final examinations and build strong relationships between staff and students. Additionally, each lecturer in the department gave a speech to encourage students to use the vacation time to improve their English Language and Physics skills.
Memorable Farewell Dinner for Fourth-Year Students The Physics Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a farewell dinner to honour their fourth-year physics students on May 30th, 2023. The event was joined by guests and faculty members, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Vice President for Academic Affairs, who participated to celebrate the achievements and bid a fond farewell to the graduating students.
