9th ICOWOBAS-2023 Event From May 8th to May 10th, 2023, Tishk International University had the privilege of hosting the prestigious 9th International Conference and Workshop on Basic and Applied Sciences (ICOWOBAS-2023). The conference brought together a diverse gathering of four hundred presenters and listeners from across the globe. Mathematics Poster Exhibition The Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, organized a Poster Exhibition on Introduction to Mathematics for first-stage students, held on June 7th, 2023. This activity was supervised by Mr. Sivar Aziz. Dr. Pshteewan, Head of the Physics Department, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azeez Abdullah, Research Assistant Mr. Sebur Salih, participated as jury members to evaluate the posters. The exhibition aimed to broaden students’ knowledge on Mathematics used in Physics and provide them with an opportunity to depict their understanding of this field and explain it to others.
