Astronomy Club Second Outdoor Activity
The Astronomy Club at Tishk International University held the second outdoor activity on February 7th, 2022. Our students and staff members gathered on this sunny day to observe both the Moon and Sun with the telescope. Participants were amazed while observing the surface of the Sun and counting the number of sunspots with the telescope.
It was also possible to see the craters on the Moon during this astronomy activity. We had also some visiting students from the College of Science at Salahadin University. The Astronomy Club hopes to continue organizing educational activities to promote student creativity and engagement.
