A Visit to Syrian Students at Darashakran Camp
On April 18th, 2022, Physics Education Department student volunteers visited two Darashakran Refugee Camp schools as part of the project organised by the ELT Department. Darashakran Syrian Refugee Camp is located by Erbil City and is home to many Syrian refugees. They distributed school supplies amongst 3000 Syrian refugee students and were joined by Asst. Prof. Dr Idris Hadi, Head of Board of Trustees at TIU, Dr Abdul Samad Salahuddin Ahmad, President of Tishk International University, Asst. Prof. Dr Mehmet Ozdemir, Academic Vice President. Each school kit distributed included nine stationery items.
