On Thursday 8 of June 2017, third workshop was held by the staff of Physics Education Department at Tishk International University Physics laboratory.
In the workshop a number of physics teachers participated from different schools in Erbil. Workshop started in the morning and teachers did three experiments on:
· Determination of gravitational constant with motion detector,
· Determination of air resistance with motion detector, and
· Determination of Newton’s second law of motion with air track and motion detector.
In these experiments teachers studied on real data taken by motion detectors and used computers to analyze the data. Teachers filled out the reports while doing the experiments. By this way teachers had a practice on how to integrate digital technologies in physics teaching. This workshop is the third and last session of continuum “Tishk International University Physics Education Department National Workshop on Physics Experiments” series.
