As we all know that November 23 is celebrated as Fibonacci day because when the date is written in the format mm/dd (11/23), the numbers in the date form a Fibonacci sequence which is starting with 1,1,2,3. A Fibonacci sequence is a sequence of numbers where a number is the sum of the two numbers which came before it. For instance: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8,13 …is a Fibonacci sequence.
For that reason, as mathematics education department, we would like to celebrate that day this year, which is going to be on November 23, and in that day we are going to have four different organizations as follows:
  • Poster Presentation on Fibonacci numbers
  • Video Stand
  • Fibonacci Spiral(3D shape in the faculty)
  • Free Cake at the end
