As Mathematics Education Department we decided to organize an international conference on Pure and Applied Mathematics and Mathematics Education with the
Title : “NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PURE AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS AND MATHEMATICS EDUCATION (NCPAME-2018)”
Date: February 11-12, 2018 at Department of Mathematics Education, Faculty of Education, Tishk International University, Erbil-IRAQ.
Why should we organize this conference?
As a Faculty of Education we have ICASEE-conference on Applied Sciences including math and mathematical sciences. The Department of Mathematics Education is the main organizer of this conference for two years. In the third ICASEE-2016 we had only 5 math papers and in the ICASEE-2017 we have only 6 math papers. We do not have enough benefit as Math Education Department. Moreover, we cannot participate to this applied science conference together with all my colleagues because the scope is not available for my academics who are working on Math Education. Furthermore, I met lots of the mathematician from Kalar, Suleimani, Soran, Havler, Dohok and Zhako. They have same problems in their universities and I saw that if we organize a conference on Math and Math education there will be at least 40 papers with 60-70 mathematicians.
Aim of the conference:
So the main purpose of this important event to get benefit by having more and quality papers and to meet the significant experiences and researches. Moreover the conferences are one of the best ways to advertise the university inside and outside of the region and by this way we may increase the awareness of the facultyof Education and the Tishk International University.
