4th Grade students of the Mathematics Department presented their pre-defense to the department committee on May 6th, 2021. Each student presented their project, demonstrating the different topics and several subjects in mathematics, involving pure math, math education and pure education. The committee members included Prof. Dr. Mowafaq Muhammed, Dr. Orhan Tug, Dr. Abdulnasir Isah, Dr. Salisu Ibrahim, Dr. Aziza Kavlu and Mr. David Wafula Waswa. In the first part of the session, the students presented their dissertations which were then evaluated by the committee members, and during the second part, the Professors provided the students with useful feedback and discussed the amendments that require to be fixed before the final defence. The session was conducted successfully and it proved to be very beneficial for the students as it helped to prepare them for the defence.
