Mathematics Department and the University of Mosul Collaboration
On Tuesday, December 28th, 2021, 2021 a delegation from the Mathematics Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University paid a visit to the University of Mosul. The purpose of the visit was to invite the University of Mosul to ICASEE and VESAL conferences organized by the Faculty of Education, TIU.
Host representatives from the University of Mosul included:
1 . Prof. Dr. Dhuha Basheer Abdullah Al-Bazzaz (Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics)
- Assistant Professor Qais Ismail (Dean of the faculty of Education )
- Dr. Ammar Seddiq Mahmood (The Head of Mathematics Education)
- Assistant Professor Abdulghafor M. Al-Rozbayani (The Head of Mathematics, Faculty of Science)
Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Sabawi represented Tishk International University. He visited the Dean of Faculty of Education Asst. Prof. Dr. Qais Ismail, the Head of Mathematics Education Prof. Dr. Ammar Seddiq Mahmood, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics Prof. Dr. Dhuha Basheer Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, and Assistant Professor Abdulghafor M. Al-Rozbayani, Head of Mathematics Science Department.
The motive of this visit was based on possible collaboration between the two faculties in the field of research, conferences, and international/ national workshops. Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Sabawi proposed collaboration between the two universities in organizing the International Conference of Mathematics and its Application (TICMA)”, to be held on 27-29 March 2023.
We hope that this visit will open a window for academic collaborations between Mosul University and Tishk International University. As best put, knowledge increases when shared.
