Mathematics is the cradle of all creations, without which the world cannot move an inch. Be it a cook or a farmer, a carpenter or a mechanic, a shopkeeper or a doctor, an engineer or a scientist, a musician or a magician, everyone needs mathematics in their day-to-day life. Even insects use mathematics in their everyday life for existence.
On Monday, 11th of December 2017, in the first hour Dr. Mutlay Dogan ran a workshop about Importance of Mathematics in Our Daily Life. And in the second hour, another seminar ran about Doing Some Mathematical Games for the students of Mathematics Education Department. The students were enjoyed the games and engaged because Math games can make learning more fun and engaging. When students play games, they can apply their math skills to new and unique scenarios while building logic and critical thinking skills. They also got a chance to practice math in a way that is fun and appeals to their interests.
