Dear students,
Please be informed that December 17th of each year is the Kurdistan Flag Day, designated by the Kurdistan Region Parliament in 2009. In this context, the Dean of Students of Tishk International University has organized a ceremony for commemorating this day. The ceremony will commence with the Kurdish national anthem “Ay Raqib”. Then, Dr. Abdul Samad, President of the TIU, will present a speech to the students and staff. Zyrian Fazil, a student at FASE faculty, has also been invited to read a poem, which will be followed by a live performance by Mr. Rebwar Abdula, Daf Club Instructor of our University with his students. The flag of Kurdistan in front of the main building will then be raised to end the ceremony. You are all invited to this event that will be held in front of the main building at 12:00 pm.
