Introduction to Math Day for the Academic Year 2021-2022
On October 20, 2021, the Mathematics Education Department of the Education Faculty organized an opening ceremony of Math Day. Math Day is an event that is organized every year. In the opening ceremony of Math Day, the head of the Math Department, Dr. Orhan Tug, provided a speech. He talked about the importance of this event for the academic year 2021-2022.
During the event, the students participated in mathematically related seminars, games, workshops, and other educational activities. The Math Day event aims to inspire the students’ interests in Mathematics and to encourage them to integrate these types of extra curriculum activities into their own teaching skills.
