The Mathematics Education Department at Tishk International University organized a seminar regarding general examination guidelines on 3rd February 2022. The seminar aimed to guide the students and familiarize them with examination regulations. In this seminar, the Head of department, Dr. Orhan Tug, presented his speech and motivated the students to study hard. Almost 30 students for both departments mathematics department and computer departments, alongside staff members of the Mathematics Department and computer departments, attended the presentation, which was led and conducted by Ms. Maria Kawa research assistant of mathematics department and Ms. Yara Arjuman research assistant of computer department. The presenters mainly focused on the current situation, and how to maintain the health instructions in response to Covid-19; to protect the health and safety of yourself and others.
The topics discussed were:
1- Late students will not be allowed to the examination hall after 15 minutes.
2- Students not wearing face masks will not be allowed to the exam hall.
3- Keep your TIU ID card on the desk while attending the exam.
4- Keep all the required utensils with you for the exam. The exchange of utensils is forbidden during examinations.
5- Follow Covid-19 regulations strictly.
6- Cheating is considered as failing the class.
7- All students should take their examinations on time as stated in the schedule. There won’t be any repeated examinations.
8- Do not use colored pens other than blue or black when writing their names in the booklets and the exams should be answered by using pencil.
