On 16th of May 2018, the junior students of Mathematics Education Department organized a lunch in the university garden. They brought Dolma, and then they invited the staff of the department. Many thanks for kak Abdulla who brought the dolma.
5th National Students Conference on Education

Vice Presidents, Deans of Faculties, and lecturers attended the conference. The event started with the opening speech by Dr. Süleyman Çelik Chair of NASCON and the Dean of Faculty of Education. The keynote speech of the conference made by Dr. Kamal Surji Academic faculty member- Hawler Medical University, Academic Consultant and Healthcare Provider-Board Certified Respiratory Care Tennessee, USA. The conference is honored by the presence of official delegates of the Kurdistan Regional Government- KRG. The high delegates of both Ministries of Higher Education and Ministry of Agriculture. Math Students Paid a Visit to Tishk International University Library

Students were introduced to the library and how they can get benefit from it. And how library is a significant place to spend time in regards of academic betterment and excellence. Teaching-The Most Important Profession

On Monday, 30th of October 2017, Dean of Education Faculty Dr. Suleyman presented a seminar for the staff and the students of Mathematics Education Department in Math Day. These topics were mainly discussed: What is education? Why we need education? Who is teacher? And why teaching is the mot important profession? Also some examples were illustrated to the audience including well-known leader's saying about education and teaching specifically. Count Down Competition

The rule for the competition, basically , trying to get the target number by using the given small numbers. While It was challenging for some questions for some it was very simple. With speedy solutions and numbers it was really fun. This competition organization is also a powerfull idea for futures teacher to apply them to their own students in math days.
