A seminar on Countdown Competition by Mehmet Ali Sezgin The usage of math is important in our everyday life. But the more important thing is to  gain the modern mathematical knowledge on the analytical thinking in order to solve different type of question or problems that have different points of view. For that reason, Mathematics Department will hold a countdown competition during the Math Days organization on Thursday at 13:00 in Hall 138.  

Everyone think about the mystery of honey bees and honeycomb. Do you think that there is a great mathematics in that field?. There are lots of investigation for the real mathematics in the different areas. One of the important area is the honeycomb. For that reason, this week the Department of Mathematics Education is going to organize a seminar about the honey bees and the perfect mathematics on their honeycomb, and the direction which they use to reach to the pollen.  

The dapartmen of Mathematics Education has been started to perform the internal seminer series with academic of Math in order to provide mathematical discussions and gain different and advanced information from the different fields of math. The semirnars will be held on every Thursday at 15:00. We kindly invite all who are interested in mathematical discussions.

Mathematics Education Department organize Mathematics Days in order to produce new approach and methods in basic mathematics. During this significant program students will have chance to attend extraordinary seminars and well-modified methods in secondary  and high school mathematics.
