On 1st of April 2018, in mathematics days Mr. Ali Hussien who is a junior math student presented a seminar on Education Family for the students and staff in the department. In the seminar he was talking about Education Family, what is education, why education, who is teacher, why teaching is important, and why we want to be a teacher? On 25th of March 2018 which was the first day of university after the holiday of Nawroz, Ms. Dilan and Ms. Maria who are junior student in mathematics department present a seminar about Calculus for the students and staff of the department. The seminar was about the importance of Calculus, and some of its application in mathematics. Is there a subject more important than Calculus? What can be replaced with Calculus? The terminology contest which is organized by Mathematics Education Department was held with participating our students on how to write, how to spell and how to define a mathematical vocabularies which are mostly used in math courses. In the competition was included 8 groups, and each group consisted of three students from second, third and fourth year of Mathematics Education Department. There were 3 jury members.
