As we all know that November 23 is celebrated as Fibonacci day because when the date is written in the format mm/dd (11/23), the numbers in the date form a Fibonacci sequence which is starting with 1,1,2,3. On Monday October 29, 2018  the head of Mathematics Education Department, introduced the mathematics days for the academic year 2018-2019. As a departmental plan for every year, mathematics education department organizes a variety of social and academic activities throughout the year so that students can get benefit from. Attending the Math Days provide the students great opportunities to engage and increase their mathematical knowledge.    

One of the main and primary objectives of Education Faculty is organizing Social Activities for its students in order to encourage and inspire the students as well as to make an interactive, friendly and engaging environment for the students. For this reason, the Education Faculty is delighted to announce a new football tournament among the faculty departments’. The tournament is only specific for education faculty students. Therefore, we are inviting the teams and players from the departments of Mathematics Education, Physics Education, Biology Education, and English Language Teaching. A great shared social activity was made by the junior students of Mathematics Education Department on Tishk International university campus. On 16th of May 2018, the junior students of Mathematics Education Department organized a lunch in the university garden. They brought Dolma, and then they invited the staff of the department.
