Department of Mathematics Education, TIU plans to open joint master program with the Department of Mathematics, Koya Univerity for the next academic year 2019-2020. The first organization meeting was held in Koya University on Monday, 27.05.2019 in order to discuss about the proposal and template curriculum of the program. For that reason, Dr. Mowafaq Al-Kassab, a professor at Mathematics Education Department has participated in an international conference in Jordan under the title "6th International Arab Conference on Mathematics and Computations(IACMC 2019)" which has held by Zarqa university from 24 to 26 April 2019. On 9th May 2019 a team from UK, ACCREDITATION SERVICE for INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS, COLLEGES & UNIVERSITIES-ASIC paid a visit to Faculty of Education at Tishk International University in order to accredit the faculty. The purpose of the visit was to accredited the departments of the faculty. Namely, the department of Physics, Mathematics, Biology Education and English Language Teaching. During three days, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, the team was investigating the procedure of education and going through the documentation of the faculty.
