On 9th May 2019 a team from UK, ACCREDITATION SERVICE for INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS, COLLEGES & UNIVERSITIES-ASIC paid a visit to Faculty of Education at Tishk International University in order to accredit the faculty.
The purpose of the visit was to accredited the departments of the faculty. Namely, the department of Physics, Mathematics, Biology Education and English Language Teaching.
During three days, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, the team was investigating the procedure of education and going through the documentation of the faculty. In the beginning, the met the dean of the faculty Dr. Suleyman Celik and then with the head of the departments. Following that with some of the staff in the faculty.
ASIC is an independent, government approved accreditation body specialising in the accreditation of schools, colleges, universities, training organisations and online and distance education providers, both in the UK and overseas. ASIC accreditation is recognised by the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI), part of the Home Office, as a qualifying requirement for UK institutions wishing to enrol international students (from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland) on the Short-term study visa and Standard Visitor visa.
