On September 14, 2024, the SD Math International Competition brought together talented students from Kurdistan, Iraq, and several European and Arab countries at the Dedeman Hotel in Erbil. Organized by the Learning Journey Institute in collaboration with Tishk International University (TIU) and the SD Math Program, the event celebrated the importance of mathematics and problem-solving.
The competition, sponsored by the Mathematics Department at Tishk International University, King School, and Mars Labs Media Agency, was a great success. It fostered international collaboration and provided a valuable platform for young mathematicians to showcase their skills. The event was attended by prominent figures from Erbil’s academic community, including university professors and school principals.
Participants from diverse backgrounds had a unique opportunity to engage with one another, building friendships and enhancing their mathematical abilities.
