The Mathematics Education Department represented Sweden in the cultural tent. With the help of Mr Zana, Owner of Pizzana Restaurant, and our 3rd-grade student, Mr Mahmoud Ahmed, our tent served Swedish food to visitors and shared the Swedish culture. Mr Zana also introduced our department to the Swedish Embassy Office in Erbil and Mr Botan Saleh, Administrative and Consular Assistant. In preparation for this event, our department also connected with Mr Amir A. Grgies, Head of the European Desk and Mr Husseine Botani, Head of Swedo Non-governmental Organization. During the festival, Swedo staff members visited our tent, and the Dead of the organisation also provided unique gifts to Dr Orhan Tug, Head of the Mathematics Education Department, and Assist. Prof. Dr Idris Hadi, Head of Board of Trustees.

On behalf of the Mathematics Education Department, we would like to thank all the staff members and students who participated in this fantastic event and helped design the tent that represented a traditional Swedish home and prepared the Swedish food served to the visitors during the event. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to our Mr Zana for sponsoring the cultural tent represented by our department.
