“Importance of Games in Mathematics”
Playing mathematics games encourages strategic thinking, problem solving and develops fluency. They give the chance for students to apply their learning in a different context and the opportunity to explain and discuss the mathematics involved with their peers – often without fear of failure. So, On 14 December 2020, Mathematics Education Department at Tishik International University organized a seminar about the benefit of games in mathematics which present by Mr. Daivad Wafula he explains that math class are bored and we need to make it funny. Also all detail about the games how to use and when to use also he use some mathematical materials during his explanations and he show to our students physically at the same time he teaches them how to manage time while using or explaining any material in the class and he also explain that mathematics not only teaching on whiteboard or using materials he explains some physicals game that can be done by the students specially for primary level. By that way we can encourage our students to do mathematics.
