On October 29, 2019, Mathematics Education Department of the Education Faculty organized opening ceremony of Math Day. Math Day is an event that is organized every year. In the opening ceremony of Math Day, the head of the Math Department, Dr. Orhan Tug, provided a speech. He talked about the importance of this event for academic year 2019-2020. During the event, the students participated in mathematical related seminars, games, workshops, and other educational activities. The Math Day event aims to inspire the students’ interests in Mathematics and to encourage them integrates these types of extra curriculm activities into their own teaching skill.
