1st International Workshop on Global Contributions on Mathematical Sciences
On April 23rd 2022, the Mathematics Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, organised an international workshop titled, “1st International Workshop on Global Contributions to Mathematical Sciences: Operator Theory and its Interdisciplinary Applications”.
It was the maiden of international workshops for the department that the department intends to hold annually. The President of TIU, his Excellency Assist. Prof. Dr Abdul Samad officially opened the workshop, and the Chairman of the Workshop Assist addressed the congregation. Prof. Dr Salisu Ibrahim.
The workshop was attended by 60 participants and welcomed two international keynote speakers: Prof. Dr M. Mursaleen, an Expert in Functional Analysis, and Prof. Dr Eberhard Malkowsky, whose research interest includes Functional Analysis, Sequence Spaces, Matrix Transformations, FK Spaces, and Measures of Noncompactness. Each speaker presented during a session, and a panel discussion was held during the 3rd and workshop final session.
Dr Orhan Tug, Head of the Mathematics Education Department, delivered a closing speech at the event and thanked the organisers and speakers of the workshop for their effort and participation.
