Young ELT Girls Celebrate Ramadan with Iftar Gathering
On March 31st 2024, the Department of English Language Teaching, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University (TIU) a special iftar gathering was organized for first & second stage girls by their class advisors, Mrs. Shahida Nurmatova & Ms. Lyday Aso. The event was generously supported by the Dean of Students, fostering a warm and welcoming environment for the young learners to break their fast together. After enjoying the delicious iftar meal, the program transitioned into a fun and engaging session of games and activities. To further enrich the experience, a question-and-answer session allowed them to delve deeper into the significance of Ramadan. As the event concluded, the teachers presented their students with gifts, leaving them with a memorable and enriching experience that celebrated cultural awareness and community spirit.
