Representatives from the Faculty of Education, English Language Teaching (ELT) Department at Tishk International University (TIU) visited Collins College of English with the aim of strengthening academic and professional collaboration between the two institutions in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to discuss possible areas of cooperation, particularly in relation to academic activities, professional development, educational events, workshops, seminars, and future collaborative initiatives. The discussions emphasized the importance of fostering quality and inclusive education, enhancing teaching and learning practices, and building sustainable partnerships between educational institutions to support students, teachers, and the wider academic community.
The TIU delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Soran Karim, whose kind hospitality and positive support contributed greatly to the success of the visit. The teachers at Collins College of English were also very welcoming and kindly invited the TIU representatives into their classes, providing an excellent opportunity to observe teaching practices and engage directly with students. Such exchanges contribute to professional learning and capacity building, aligning with the objectives of SDG 4: Quality Education.
The teachers and students of Collins College of English were warmly invited to participate in upcoming academic, educational, professional, and social events organized by Tishk International University.
