Tishk International University and Safeen Compound School Discuss Future Academic Cooperation

A delegation from the Faculty of Education, English Language Teaching (ELT) Department at Tishk International University visited Safeen Compound School in Shaklawa on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, to strengthen academic connections and explore opportunities for future cooperation in support of quality education and sustainable development.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Ms. Herman Ayar, Principal of Safeen Compound School, and members of the school’s administrative team. The meeting provided a valuable platform for exchanging educational experiences, sharing best practices, and discussing ways to enhance collaboration between the two institutions.
The discussions focused on potential areas of cooperation, including the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the organization of joint academic and educational activities that promote knowledge sharing, professional development, and innovation in education. These initiatives directly contribute to United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
During the meeting, the delegation presented an overview of the Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, highlighting its academic programs, research activities, and opportunities available for students and educators.
Both parties expressed their satisfaction with the productive discussions and reaffirmed their commitment to developing meaningful and long-term cooperation. The proposed collaboration reflects the spirit of SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, emphasizing the importance of institutional partnerships in advancing educational excellence, capacity building, and community development.
