The Faculty of Education has successfully organized his 5th International Conference on Applied Science, Energy and Environment ICASEE-2018 in cooperation with the college of education of Salahaddin University. The conference is honored by the presence of official delegates of the Kurdistan Regional Government- KRG. The high delegates of both Ministries of Higher Education and Ministry of Agriculture. As a constant part of the students’ activities, motivations and projects, the Faculty of Education in the University of Tishk International has hold a series of debates under the name of The Competition Debate of 2018. Starting from the 7th February, the debate was finalized on the 1st March 2018. The competition contained 16 volunteer groups from the departments of ELT, Physics, Biology, and Math. A delegation from the Education Faculty of Tishk International University have visited two universities on Wednesday, December 13th, 2017. The delegation which were composed of (Dr. M. Dogan, Dr. Karzan Mohammad and Mr. Orhan Tug) paid a fruitful visit to both Garmian and Halabja Universities. The journey started by an early morning visit to the University of Garmian at which they met the president of Garmian University whom showed great hospitality and welcome. An exhibition was organized on the 9th January 2017 to present more than 20 physics projects by the students of Physics and Mathematics Education Departments. The objective of the exhibition was to provide the students’ skills and knowledge in order to show their specializations that they can perform after graduation effectively. The projects were exhibited in the main entrance of the Education Faculty Building. Large number of participants attended the exhibition. We would like to thank to 3rd and 4th grade students and their advisor Dr.Hamdi Serin for their excellent work on the project presentation. The project presentation aimed to give fantastic ideas how to teach the basic math topics in a different and understandable way for students. Third grade students from ELT department paid a visit to elderly home in Erbil; On 16 December 2015 the aim of this visit was to see the elder-lies’ condition out there. The students served lunch to the elderly and they were extremely pleased with our visit.
