On December 6th, 2022, the Biology Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, organised a scientific trip for second-grade students to the Invertebrates Laboratory, Salahaddin University, College of Science. The trip was supervised by Mrs. Zhikal Omar and Mrs.Gasheen Bakhtiyar. Students learn more efficiently through visualisation; therefore, organising field trip gives them the opportunity to touch, feel, and hear what they are learning in theory. This helps them to integrate what they learn in class, understand topics better, develop cultural sensitivity and tolerance, and expose them to the outside world. Scientific trip to the oldest animal museum A scientific trip was organized by the Biology Education Department of Tishk International University to Salahadin University Animal Museum for fourth-grade students, held on the 30th of November 2021. This trip allowed students to visit the oldest animal museum in the region, and to see different Phylum and species.
