On November 3rd, students enrolled in the Principles of Animal Physiology course at Tishk International University participated in an informative scientific trip to the Bio Lab in Erbil. The visit was supervised by Ms. Zhikal Omer and Ms. Shnyar Qadir and aimed to enhance students’ practical understanding of animal physiology through direct laboratory exposure.
During the trip, students were introduced to advanced laboratory equipment and modern experimental techniques, allowing them to observe the practical applications of physiological concepts discussed in class. They actively engaged with laboratory professionals, who provided valuable explanations of current methodologies and technologies used in physiological research.
This scientific visit played a vital role in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical experience, thereby deepening students’ comprehension of the subject matter. To reinforce the learning outcomes of this experience, students were assigned to prepare a comprehensive report reflecting their observations and the knowledge gained throughout the trip. Overall, this educational activity significantly contributed to students’ academic development and practical skills in the field of biology.
