National Scientific Workshop on Systematic Review and Meta Analysis Announcement

In collaboration with the Department of Medical Laboratory Science of Lebanese French University, the Department of Biology Education, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University will hold the National Scientific Workshop on Systematic Review and Meta Analysis. 

The workshop aims to shed light on the contemporary challenges when writing systematic review manuscripts, including the foundation of the systematic review, guidelines for systematic review, and template paper for systematic review. Moreover, the workshop highlights the basic techniques and tips throughout reviewing process of article publications in high-impact factor journals. More importantly, the significance of review for young researchers will be tackled.

Key objectives:

1. To figure out the main tips for publishing in high-impact factor journals.
2. To overcome the expected challenges in publishing review articles.
3. To know the main contents of a systematic review.
4. To understand the importance of a review paper, mainly for young researchers.

Outcome(s) of the workshop:

By the end of the workshop, the participants will:

1. Get accustomed to techniques to publish in high-impact journals.
2. Become familiar with strategies to overcome the challenges of the editorial board and reviewers in publishing a review article.
3. Draft a systematic review on a topic of interest.
4. Understand the significance of review papers.
