Students from the Biology Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University (TIU), Rabar Muhamd, Hogr Jonaid, and Soma Bahaddin, under the guidance of Mrs. Sawsan Hamed, conducted an informative visit to Ishik and Nilufer Primary Schools on April 3rd, 2024. These committed students, who embody our university’s dedication to sustainability and active citizenship, delivered informative sessions on environmental stewardship, embracing the spirit of community engagement.

The students passionately discussed the significance of preserving clean, litter-free environments in accordance with Sustainable Development Goal 15, which emphasises the importance of supporting land and ecosystems through education. Their captivating presentations were designed to motivate young individuals to adopt proactive measures to protect our environment.

The primary school students’ enthusiastic feedback serves as evidence of the profound impact of this endeavour. They sincerely appreciated the informative and engaging sessions, emphasising the relevance and enjoyment of the presentations. The participants found the presentation engaging and informative; and highlighted the need for more similar sessions.

This feedback emphasises the substantial positive influence of these educational experiences and the students’ aspiration for ongoing learning opportunities. The university is proud of the contributions made by Rabar, Hogr, Soma, and Mrs. Hamed in the cultivation of environmental awareness and responsibility among the younger generation.
